Robert R. McDougall, Jr. Robert Roy McDougall, Jr., was born June 14, 1914, son of Robert.R. and Ella S. McDougall, Sr. of Hickory Street, Delanco; Siblings: James C. McDougal and Vernon "Bud" McDougal. Robert married Frances Kelly in 1943 or 1944. He joined the US Army and served in the Army Corps of Engineers in Germany during WWII until 1945 or 1946. After the service he continued to work as a civilian engineer for the Army Corp of Engineers in Philadelphia. The family moved to Pennsauken in 1951. Robert was active in the Gross-Hollinshed VFW Post 1270 in Pennsauken where he served as Commander for many years. As an engineer, he became very interested in model trains as a hobby, and worked on them year round. He died in February of 1982 and is buried in Memorial Cemetery in Beverly.
